This comfortable oceanfront cottage overlooks our lawn with private ledges and is a honeymooners’ delight.
Accommodating up to 2 adults, it looks out over Blue Hill Bay with an unobstructed ocean view from your front porch. Triple patio doors also offer fine views from within.
The large living room with vaulted ceiling and skylight has HD satellite TV and high-speed wifi.
The newly remodeled bedroom has a king-size bed.
The well equipped eat-in kitchen has a full-size range with oven, full-size fridge with freezer, and microwave.
The remodeled bathroom has a bathtub with shower. The cottage is heated and all linens are provided.
Amenities
Of course the greatest amenity we offer is the ocean view. Adirondack chairs and picnic tables are set up around the property so you can enjoy the scenery both from the meadow and from the rocky ledges at the shore.
Your home away from home also includes:
- Housekeeping — the cottages are cleaned before you arrive; no cleaning is required when you leave other than washing any dishes you may have used

“Great location and beautiful view while being an excellent value. Annie’s Outlook was a beautiful cottage with more than enough room for two….[It] had an unobstructed view of the bay from the new deck. The kitchen was well stocked and the bed was very comfortable. Even though it is on the west side of the island, it was very easy to access any part of the national park for biking, hiking, and swimming. It’s a very quiet and peaceful place to come home to at the end of a busy day.”

“Peaceful, bright and comfortable. Our stay at Annie’s Outlook was wonderful! The cottage is full of light — cathedral ceiling with a skylight, ceiling fan, and new windows. The kitchen is very well stocked, with more than enough dishware, pots, pans, etc. The nights are very peaceful and quiet, and the bed is very comfortable. And the view is magnificent — triple patio doors off the deck and nothing but grass between us and the shore. A bald eagle made several appearances, as did a harbor seal. Beautiful sunsets were followed by an amazing number of stars in the night sky. We enjoyed a week of perfect weather, and explored Acadia via drives, hikes, sails, and many ranger-led activities. All in all, a vacation we will always remember!”

The kitchen was well equipped with a gas stove and we used the gas grill outside several time during the week. We could drive to any place on Mt. Desert Island in 35 minutes. Robin was so helpful to suggest best places to hike close by and to provide maps to help us find our way. It was a dream location for us.”
